Narville: Keep moving forward! Use your damn covering fire! [Narville picks up his binoculars.] Godamnit! We're getting our asses kicked.

Through Narville's binoculars, a ATAC appears before Narville spots Colonel Mael Radec directing his troops.

Narville: Aw shit! Radec! Hey Rico, heads-up, Radec's troops are in the area.

Rico: Mortars! Fall back! Fall back!

Narville: Incoming!!

Sev: Get out of here! Take cover!

Narville: Get your asses to cover, on the double!

Sev spots the mortar shells.

Sev: Aw, shit...!

Narville: Get me coordinates on their position.

Sev quickly runs behind cover. Several ISA soldiers are set on fire.

Narville: Fall back! Get the fuck out of there!

Sev quickly runs and jumps off the bridge before it is destroyed by the mortars.

Gameplay

Rico [Radio]: Sev? Convoy's on its way to the North bridge. Work your way back up top and we'll find you. I'm sending Garza to scout out your route.

Helghast Trooper #1: Did you hear? Two grunts from our unit got executed by Radec?

Helghast Trooper #2: No shit? What for? Cowardice? Defeatism?

Rico [Radio]: Garza's comin' to back you up. Watch out for a friendly to your front.

Garza: Hey Sev! Rico sent me from the convoy to guide you back.

The building is struck by artillery fire.

Garza: Shit! Get up here!

If Sev delays too long.

Garza: Sev - get yourself up here, man!

After Sev reached Garza.

Garza: We're clear. Good to see you kept yourself in tact. How do we keep getting into situations like this? Hopefully the convoy is waiting for us.

Rico [Radio]: Incoming Mortar fire is blowin' the crap out of us! Find 'em and take 'em out!

Garza: Sounds like it's coming from that direction. Dammit, the convoy's catching hell. Quickly!

After Garza opens the door.

Garza: Nice and easy. Keep your eyes open. Got it. We're in.

Garza: Heavy resistance on the left near the mortar.

After eliminating Helghast resistance.

Garza: Okay, plant a D-Charge and send this thing to the scrapyard! I got your back!

Garza: Hurry up and set that charge!

If Sev delays.

Garza: Sev, what're you waitin' for? Set a charge!

After Sev placed the D-Charge.

Garza: Blow it!

After the first mortar is destroyed.

Rico [Radio]: You found those mortars yet?

Garza: Workin' on it!

Rico [Radio]: Work. Faster.

Garza: That's one less. Let's find the next.

When coming across a locked door.

Garza: Watch and learn, Sev. This is the easy way to open one of these babies. Almost there...

Radec [Radio]: All units, this is Radec. Many of you have served under me. Many more have known me as the Schoolmaster who moulded you into a new and better form. The defense system is initialized. Hold positions and await further orders!

Garza: We gotta get to the other mortar.

After blowing up the last mortar.

Garza: Rico, we've done it!

Rico [Radio]: Narville thanks you for your efforts, the convoy is moving on.

Rico [Radio]: You two haul ass back here and rejoin us, understood?

Garza: Roger that.

Rico [Radio]: I said to get back here to the convoy! Move it!

Evelyn [Radio]: Alpha? Can you talk?

Garza: It's quiet right now, Evelyn. What's on your mind?

Evelyn [Radio]: The short version. There's some unknown element on that metal fragment you recovered. It's dense. Unstable. It packs a massive electrical charge.

Garza: This stuff powers the arc towers?

Evelyn [Radio]: The amount needed would be huge, but yes. The puzzle is that we can't spot the distribution system from up here.

Garza: We're on the ground. Actually, we're heading under it. We'll keep our eyes open. Oh, hey Evelyn... Got some intel for you. We caught a message from Radec on Hig comms. Mentioned some 'defense system'. Maybe it's related?

Evelyn [Radio]: I'll tell the Colonel, keep us updated.

Garza: Copy that.

When Garza and Sev come across ISA bodies.

Garza: That's just wrong... Rico! We've got some dead good guys, here...

Rico [Radio]: There are missing elements from the 23rd M.A.T. in that area. Don't leave survivors for the Higs. Search around.

Garza: Affirmative.

ISA Soldier: Can someone hear me?

Garza: We've got a live one.

The ISA soldier is instantly killed by sniper fire.

Garza: Ambush!

Rico [Radio]: Sev, Garza! Looks like you stirred up a shit storm! Hig chatter has a dropship headed your way.

Garza: And the good news...?

Rico [Radio]: You get to kill 'em.

Garza: Roger that! We got us another last stand, bro.

A Overlord Dropship appears.

Garza: Dropship! Here they come!

Garza: They're fanning out!

After eliminating the Helghast.

Garza: Don't hold me to it, but I think that's the last of 'em. Let's get back to the convoy, quick!

Radec [Radio]: All units be advised that ISA units are continuing to advance in sector 3. All sector 3 units prepare for imminent contact. All other sectors - this is a preparatory order for tactical redeployment. That is all.

Garza: Doesn't look like the Higs are ready to lie down yet, huh? I doubt things are quieter back with the convoy.

After reaching the convoy.

Garza: Hey guys!

Rico: We're being attacked from that rooftop. Get up there and take them out!

Garza: This way!

Garza: On the roof! Take 'em out!

Garza: Looks like we're gonna have to breach our way in...

Garza: Use the MG!

After Sev plants the charge.

Garza: Charge is hot! Take cover!

After reaching the upper level of the power station.

Garza: Fuck. There's no route up there. We're gonna have to blow the whole thing up!

Garza: Sev, set the D-Charges on the main pillars! I'll cover ya!

After Sev sets up the third charge.

Garza: Sev! Get that last charge, I'll cover the exit!

After Sev sets up the last charge.

Garza: That's all the charges! Let's get outta here and blow the place!
