Natko: Shit... You done, or you wanna level a few more blocks just to be sure?

Garza: Hey, better safe than sorry...

Rico: We gotta get the convoy across ASAP. Sev, Garza, you lead the assault. Let's move.

Helghast Grenadiers runs to position and throws grenades at an ISA AAPC.

Natko: Fuck! Grenade jockeys!

Gameplay #1

Rico: Right now this bridge is our only route to the palace. We gotta get this convoy across ASAP.

After advancing midway across the bridge, an alarm sounds.

Garza: Shit! They're raising the bridge!

Garza: Sev, get over here! Many, they REALLY don't want us to take this bridge! See if you can take out those machine gun nests.

After taking out the machine gun nests and securing the bridge.

Garza: Well, I guess we took half the bridge. So we're only half-screwed...

Rico: Sev, get your ass down under the bridge and find a way to lower it again. You men, give supporting fire down to the right there. Rest of you, clear this bridge so the convoy can move up! Garza, you keep lookout from here. See anythin' Hig, you holler. Move it! Get that bridge lowered!

ISA Trooper: Shit! The AA gun spotted us.

After securing the AA gun.

Garza [Radio]: Looks like you stirred up a hornet's nest, down there! Use their own damn gun on them!

After eliminating the Helghast with the AA gun.

Garza [Radio]: Good job, man! You kicked their asses! Carry on, get on top of the other side of the bridge.

After Sev reach the other side of the bridge.

Rico [Radio]: Hey Sev, there must be a way to control the bridge at your 20.

After Sev lowered the bridge.

Rico [Radio]: Bridge came down. Convoy advance! Roll 'em!

Garza [Radio]: Hold on buddy, I'll open that door for you.

After Garza reunites with Sev.

Garza: Man, I'm good... C'mon, let's go!

Garza: Wow! That was a nice big explosion!

Rico: No time to analyse. Let's clean up and head for the palace.

After securing the bridge.

Rico: Looks like that's the last of 'em. Sev, Intel confirmed Radec set up HQ in the Academy. How'd you feel about some sightseeing, Sergeant? Why don't we go take a look at that Academy? The convoy is continuing on to the Palace - we'll hook up after we're done.

Garza: Gotcha! Radec, here we come!

Garza: Sev, over here! With the buggies! We got wheels, man!

After Sev reunites with Alpha Squad.

Garza: Get down!!!

Cutscene #2

An ISA Archer Tank fires its missiles on the gate and opening a way through. Sev boards the buggy Garza is driving and they drive through the gate.

Sev: Hey Garza! Hold up! Pull over!

Sev and Garza sees an arc of electricity up ahead. Garza stops the buggy.

Garza: What the hell? Must be from that explosion we saw earlier. Is that the same shit we got from the Arc Tower?

Sev: Looks like it. Wonder where this shit is coming from.

Garza: We should tell Evelyn when we get a chance.

Scene shifts to Radec Academy. Garza and Sev drives and stop in front of the Academy.

Gameplay #2

Rico: Radec's inside! Let's get him!

Garza: Look at this place... the rest of this city is a shithole...

Rico: Figures. Only the Higs care about is training troops. Well, they really went to town on this place... What do you think, Natko?

Natko: I really think I should have gotten a chance to drive that jeep.

After Garza opens the doors.

Garza: Okay, stay frosty. It's too quiet in here.

Natko: Yeah, something's fishy.

Rico: AMBUSH!

After surviving the ambush.

Garza: Academy's secured now. I'd say it's time to go pay Radec a visit...!

Rico: Hold on Sev! Let's do this as a team!

Alpha approach the office's door.

Rico: Radec's office must be through there. Any suggestions?

Garza: Looks like a control box over here...

Natko fires his shotgun at the control box.

Garza: Hey, watch out!

Natko: Hey, just helpin' things along.

Garza: All it takes is a little finesse, like... so.

Natko: Yeah...

Garza opens the door and reveals another door. Rico shakes his head before opening fire at the second door before breaking it open.

Rico: Finesse my ass.

Natko: He he he...

Alpha Squad enters the office and finds it empty.

Garza: Nice crib. Reminds me of the principal's office back at the academy.

Natko: Thought you were mostly bent over the desk. Ha ha ha ha!

Cutscene #3

Rico: Listen.

Natko: Ah, what the fuck is that...?

An object zooms past the windows. It is reveal to be an ATAC and it opens fire on the office. Alpha takes cover.

Garza: Shiiit!

The ATAC zooms above the skylight and opens fire.

Garza: Jesus!

The ATAC then disappears.

Rico: Everyone okay? Talk to me.

Natko: Yeah. For now.

Rico: It's a fuckin' ATAC. We're sitting ducks down here! We've got to get to the roof.

Alpha runs to the roof. Sev stops and sees the ATAC, which fires its missiles that separates Sev from his squad.

Gameplay #3

Rico [Radio]: We're cut off, we're going to see if we can help you from the ground.

After the ATAC is destroyed.

Rico [Radio]: Nice one, ATAC taken out.

Cutscene #4

Narville: Get a team out there NOW and secure that impact site!

Narville salutes ISA trooper.

Narville: Keep those units moving! I wanna knock on Visari's door inside the hour!

Rico: Alpha ready, sir.

Narville: Impressive display taking down that ATAC... Now impress me some more and take point on the convoy.

The convoy advance across the street where a structure emerges out of a hole.

ISA Trooper: Sir, unidentified object at 12 o'clock.

The convoy approaches the structure.

ISA Trooper: Stop the convoy!

Narville [Radio]: Sit-rep lookout... what in hell's going on!?

ISA Trooper: Uh... not sure, sir. Something just came out of the ground...

ISA Trooper: Whoa shit, that thing looks crazy!

ISA Trooper: Don't move any closer until command says so!

ISA Trooper: Forward units standing by - what are our orders, sir?

The structure reaches its height and unleash an arc of electricity at the convoy, revealing to be an Arc weapon.

ISA Trooper: ...some kinda shield...aaaaaaah!

ISA troopers are being struck by the electricity. A bolt sends an APC that nearly lands on Natko. Alpha takes cover.

Narville: Get out of there...move back! Move back! Go!

Visari [Radio]: Colonel Radec, report. What are their losses? I want this day to be a day of mourning for the ISA.

Radec and a pair of his men observe the city.

Radec: The enemy convoy has been decimated. The weapon performed... adequately.

Visari [Radio]: I know you'd rather taste their blood spilled in battle... but a live commander is more valuable to me than a dead hero.

Radec: As you wish.

Scene shifts back to Alpha Squad.

Rico: Alpha-One to command. It's all gone to shit, Colonel.

Scene shifts to the New Sun's bridge.

Evelyn: Run those numbers again, we have to be sure...

Templar: Understood. Evelyn's working on it.

Evelyn: Those pillars... they're powered by the same compound as the arc towers... We've tracked the electrical signature of the pipelines you discovered - to the wastelands. Satellite scans show some activity around the old refineries.

Templar: I need Alpha on the ground to help take out whatever's powering those defenses. I'm sending Evelyn to help you track down the source.

Rico: Sir.

Sev: Our war just got a whole lot worse, right?

Rico: ...you have no idea.
