ISA: Attention! Attention! Prepare for Air Operations.

ISA: Attention Team Epsilon. Team Epsilon to Briefing Room 4 immediately.

Sev wakes up from his bunk bed and goes to check himself at the sink and mirror.

Garza: Come on Sev, let's go. Time for us to deploy!

Sev exits the room and joins Garza looking outside the ship.

Garza: Look at that. Shame we can't get any closer and just blast 'em away from up here... but they've got some crazy anti-aircraft system...

ISA: Squad Alpha... Report. Immediately to Bay C for Pre-launch.

Garza: Shit, that's us! Let's go!

Gameplay #1

Garza: The beachhead units got pretty badly fucked up, but the second wave is already on deck. The point guy is Captain Narville leading Avenger Convoy. He's kicking Hig ass and taking names in Visari Square. Next stop is the Palace. Scuttlebutt is that we're going to be tasked to Narville. You know. Cover his flanks, special duties and all that shit.

Sev and Garza meets up Rico and Evelyn Batton.

Rico: Ah Garza, Sev. Meet Evelyn, our council scientist who's tracking the nukes the Higs stole.

Evelyn: Hello.

Rico: What about the nukes?

Evelyn: Right now? We have no idea. The plan is to take Visari alive, and get him to fill us in on his plans.

Rico: I want tickets to that show.

Evelyn: You must treat Visari professionally, Sergeant Velasquez. His cooperation will be important to our long-term aims.

Rico: Spare me the fuckin' the politics, man.

Evelyn: We have an opportunity to end hundreds of years of antagonism here! A great deal of future history will be decided by how we act on Helghan.

Rico: History was never my favourite. Let's get to the here and now, huh?

Evelyn: Of course. You know Avenger Convoy's on point?

Rico: I've read the sit-rep materials, yeah.

Evelyn: Casualties have been high. Very high. We believe the defense is masterminded by Colonel Radec.

Rico: What do we know about him?

Evelyn: Only what we get from Lente's captured papers from the Vektan invasion. Radec is mentioned as 'Visari's Hound', so expect the defense to be fanatical.

Rico: Greeeeeat

Evelyn: Alpha will be spearheading the convoy along its route. Clearing bridgeheads, securing flanks--Captain Narville will let you know.

Rico: Understood

Evelyn: Your first job will be clearing a route for a reinforcement convoy: Punisher. You'll be inserted onto a beach on the Corinth River.

Rico: Huh. Let's look at the tactical situation.

Sev enters Bay C and meets Natko.

Natko: Hey. Come on you two. I ain't got all day. I gotta get home in time to tuck Garza's mon in.

Cutscene #2

ISA: Units twenty through forty mounting in three minutes...

Rico: Check your gear. That includes you Natko. Thing you forget is the thing'll save your life.

Colonel Jan Templar enters the scene and pats Rico's shoulder.

Templar: How are the men holding up?

Rico: Yeah they're ready. Just wanna be let off their leash.

Templar: Wish I was coming with you on this one.

Rico: I'll get along somehow.

Templar: I'm counting on it. Good luck Rico.

Templar gives one last pat on Rico's shoulder and leaves.

Rico: Sir. Okay people let's get this shit done!

Alpha Squad and other ISA squads are on board Intruder dropships.

Rico: It's their planet this time. Keep your shit wired tight, okay?

Natko: Includes you Garza! I'm not pullin' your sorry ass outta the fire like back on Sorin.

Rico: And who started the fire by openin' up on the patrol?

Sev: Natko's just a natural born diplomat.

Natko: Fuck you!

Rico: Hey! Check it out...show's starting.

ISA cruisers launch missiles.

Natko: Wow man!

Garza: That's gotta send a message.

Intruders are then being lowered.

Natko: Man I live for this shit!

Sev: Ehm... Natko?

Natko: Yeah?

Sev: May wanna buckle up.

Natko: Shit!

Alpha's Intruder is dropped.

Rico: Here we go...

Natko: Oooh yeah!

Garza: Holy crap!

Sev: No kidding.

Garza: You eve see this before?

Natko: At Vekta maybe...

Rico: Vekta was nothing to this shit.

Natko: You taste that?

Rico gesture to the propellant coming from the Intruder ahead of them.

Rico: Missile propellant. You don't wanna inhale that stuff. Dust off soon as we hit, regroup on me or Sev... no sightseein'...

Alpha enters Pyrrhus .

Rico: Head down! Keep low!

Sev: Incoming flak!

An Intruder is shot down.

Rico: Damn!

Another Intruder is shot and crashes into another.

Garza: Ah shit!

An ISA soldier is sent flying past Alpha.

Natko: Wow! This is fucked up!

Rico: Hang on!

Sev: Two hundred metres! We're dropping short!

Natko: Aw crap!

Alpha's Intruder roughly lands across the Corinth River.

Natko: Move! Move! Move!

Rico: Unass this thing and get to cover.

Garza: Come on!

Rico: [to Sev] Let's go!

Gameplay #2

ISA: Someone take out that damn bridge! I mean now goddamnit!

Garza: This is bullshit!

Natko: Where's their officer?!

Rico: Don't matter, he ain't here!

After the bridge is destroyed.

Rico: Templar, bridge is down, we cleared the landing zone.

Templar: Copy that, Alpha. Be advised, reinforcements are inbound! Repeat, reinforcements are on their way!

Rico: APCs coming through the floodgate! Shit! They're closin' the floodgate!

After clearing out all Helghast on the beach.

ISA: Area secure!

ISA: Awh, shit, how are we going to get through that floodgate?

Rico: Garza, you and Sev head up to the control room and open that floodgate. Natko, you keep watch. Convoy's coming in any time now, so look sharp!!

Garza: Got it! Ride's ready, Sev! We can get up to the elevator over here.

Helghast: Have they made it through the floodgate yet?

Helghast: Negative, we'll hold here until reinforcements arrive.

After clearing the warehouse.

Rico [Radio]: Sev, Garza. Convoy is in position! Get that floodgate open!

Garza: We're on it!

Helghast reinforcements arrive.

Garza: Cover me while I hack this Control Box.

After holding off the Helghast.

Garza: Presto. Let's go!

After entering the floodgate control room.

Garza: Use that valve to open the floodgate!

After the floodgates are opened.

Rico [Radio]: Floodgates are open, repeat, floodgates are open. Sev, Garza, nice work. Convoy Punisher is getting ready to move. I want you two to stay on higher ground, cover us from above.

Garza: You got it, Sarge. C'mon!

Rico [Radio]: Convoy Punisher, you're clear to proceed. Move on through!

Garza: Allow me...

Garza breaks down a door.

Rico [Radio]: They're all over us! Keep 'em off us, Sev!

Garza: Trouble!

After clearing out the Helghast for Punisher Convoy.

Rico [Radio]: That's the last of 'em. Good work! You guys keep covering us from the high ground.

Garza: Looks like we have to go through here.

After Garza breaks through a door.

Garza: Over here, Sev.

ISA: Yeehaaw! Light 'em up!

An Intruder launch a missile at a Helghast emplacement before hovering near Garza and Sev.

Jeffries: Hey Garza? How's it goin' asshole?

Garza: Jeffries! Where you guys stationed at?

Jeffries: Northern Beach Head by the Capital! I'll stand you a cold one when we get this convoy through.

Jeffries' Intruder departs.

Garza: I'll hold you to that.

Jeffries' Intruder is hit by a missile.

ISA [Radio]: Shit! Keep her up, man! Nose up! Ah!

Rico [Radio]: Sev! Garza! Keep those Higs off the convoy!

Garza: Sev! Get on the MG!

Rico [Radio]: We're gettin' the crap kicked out of us down here!

Garza: Fuckin' building's falling apart!

After killing the hostiles on the opposite building.

Garza: Whoa, yeah! You see that?!

Nakto [Radio]: See it? Was damn near under it!

Rico [Radio]: Someone move that wreck outta the way. Let's get this damn convoy movin'!

Garza: Let's go check out see if there's any survivors.

Garza and Sev comes around a corner and see a ISA soldier begging for his life.

ISA: No! No!

The ISA soldier is shot in the head.

Garza: Shit... That must be where they went down.

Sev and Garza clear out Helghast soldiers and arrive at the crash site with no survivors.

Garza: Grab that rocket launcher. Let's wipe the city clean of these bastards.

Nakto [Radio]: Sev, Garza! Where the fuck did you get to?! We walked into a frickin' shit storm here!!

Garza: On our way. Better move it!

Sev and Garza find Punisher Convoy pinned down.

Rico [Radio]: Sev! Garza! Convoy's stalled! We're under fire! Clear out those RPGs in the towers!

Garza: Understood!

Garza: Can't get any closer with that MG there! Damn it!

Nakto [Radio]: Fuck! Tank, tank! Take cover!

Nakto [Radio]: We're gettin' our asses kicked here! Do somethin' and do it fast! Clear those frickin' bunkers!

After clearing out the final tower.

Garza: Sev! There's a ladder over here!

Rico [Radio]: Over here Sev, we will cover you.

A HGH Tank appears.

Garza: Shit! Tank coming in through the floodgates!

Rico [Radio]: Sev, Garza! Get this damn tank off our backs!

Garza: Bullets won't do shit! Need an RPG to take it out!

Garza: Sev, the tank!

Rico [Radio]: They took out the driver!

Garza: You jump in and drive!

After the HGH Tank is destroyed.

Templar [Radio]: Listen up, Alpha. Our scouts have spotted a full armored unit headed your way. Prepare for an artillery strike! Clear out!

Rico [Radio]: Cruiser's launching a rocket attack! They're gonna light up this whole area!

After Helghast forces are cleared.

Rico [Radio]: There they go.

Templar [Radio]: Good work Alpha. We've got it covered from here.

Cutscene #3

ISA: Captain Narville is expecting you ASAP. Convoy's taking a real hammering.

Nakto: Visari Square. Yippidy-fucking-doo da.

Rico: Hurry up Garza!

Garza: Good to go!

ISA: I never saw anything like it before.

Nakto: Ya don't say. All I know is, Narville's a piece of work. If he's in trouble, things are really heatin' up.
