Sierra 3-7: This is Sierra 3-7 requesting clearance to land on platform two, over.
ATC: Copy, Sierra 3-7, you are clear for approach. Landing team on standby. Over.
Sierra 3-7 lands and Lucas drops off.
VSA Trooper #1: Good to have you back on Vektan soil, sir. They're expecting you upstairs. Follow me, I'll get you through security.
VSA Trooper #1: Lots of traffic passing through here today, more than usual. They're drafting in units from all over.
VSA Trooper #1: It's the waiting around that messes with your head.
VSA Trooper #2: Nothing gets through without clearance.
VSA Trooper #1: Guess now you're here things start moving, huh?
VSA Trooper #2: Everyone, please step aside. This way sir.
Lucas is granted passage through the line until he is stopped by automatic security.
VSA guard: Sorry, sir. Just a formality.
The checkpoint security scans Lucas and is confirmed entry.
VSA guard: Ok, clear. Please proceed.
Lucas walks to the courtyard until he and everyone hears a booming sound. Alarm sounds and a large explosion erupts in VSA HQ. Lucas is rendered unconscious. He wakes up and sees the carnage.
VSA Trooper: You hear me, you alright?
VSA Troopers rush to the scene to help an injured woman.
VSA Trooper: Ma'am, ma'am. We gotta get you up, come over, gimme some help. Just hold on. We've got you up, just hold on, put some pressure on it, she is bleeding out.
Another VSA Trooper walks up to the woman and trooper before pulling out a pistol and shoots the woman in the head.
VSA Trooper: Aaah!
The "VSA Trooper" executes the trooper and moves to Lucas, revealing himself to be a Black Hand terrorist. Lucas quickly jabs his combat into the terrorist's throat.
After Lucas reactivates the VSA mainframe.
Sinclair: Shadow 1-8, this is Pulsar.
Lucas: Go for 1-8.
Sinclair: Are you okay?
Lucas: I'm fine sir. It's good to hear your voice.
Sinclair: I was coming in when the blast went off. Were you near it?
Lucas: Right outside.
Sinclair: Christ, that was close. What's the Sitrep?
Lucas: We've lost the mainframe. They just took control.
Sinclair: We took multiple strikes all over the city. I need you up here now!
Lucas: Copy. On route, switching back to Tac 1.
Lucas opens a door is greeted by armed VSA Troopers.
VSA guard: Hold your fire! He's one of ours! Marshal, Sinclair's outside. He wants to see you.
VSA Trooper: Sir! This way. Sinclair's outside.
Lucas returns to the courtyard and reunites with Sinclair.
Sinclair: Lucas! Lock off all floors below two and three. Nothing leaves that building. All information and data is locked down.
Another explosions erupts in the distance.
VSA Trooper: Oh Jesus Christ, that's near Templar Park.
Sinclair: Lucas, you're with me.
Sinclair and Lucas boards a dropship and fly over the HQ.
Sinclair: I always knew something like this would happen. An attack right here on our own soil. It's time for us to step up. You hear me?
Lucas: Yes, sir.
VSA Trooper: Sir, I've got the broadcast running. The intel confirms it's the Black Hand.
Trooper plays video showing Vladko Tyran.
Tyran: People of Vekta, today marks the beginning of your penance. Twenty years ago our home world was swept away in a tide of injustice. Some of us refuse to lay down and die. Some of us refuse any foreign enemy to dictate our future. Some of us refuse to accept your very presence. We are the Black Hand! Forged from the fires of Helghan and this is our day!
Sinclair: Vladko Tyran. Find him.
VSA Trooper: We're working on it, sir.
Lucas and Sinclair looks over the city that now has columns of smoke rising from the blast sites.
Sinclair: I told them... we are at war. Thinking they could buy time. We should' have gone in first, never given them a chance. The blood's on their hands now.
VSA Trooper: Sir, we've got unusual activity on the FlyRail system.
Sinclair: Get me a live feed.
Screen shows three FlyRail trains.
Sinclair: They're using trains as missiles. Get us to the depot. We'll cut them off at the source.
VSA Trooper: Redirect 549-71. We have got three hijacked transports, multiple heat signatures.
Sinclair: There's got to be civilians on board. Get down there and stop those trains. GO! GO!
Lucas jumps out to the depot.
After Lucas secures the first train.
Lucas: Command, 1-8, train secure. Hostiles down.
Command (radio): Roger. Stand by for updates.
Sinclair (radio): Negative. There's no time to wait.
Command (radio): Unit calling, identify.
Sinclair (radio): It's Sinclair! Kellan! You copy?
Lucas: Go ahead.
Sinclair (radio): The situation is still very active. They're all over the station. Push through. We can't let them take control.
Lucas: Roger that.
Sinclair (radio): What's the latest on those cruisers?
Command (radio): They're spinning up drive systems and arming.
Sinclair (radio): I want them in the air now!
Command (radio): Sir, we've got reported at least three more explosions in the docking yard.
Sinclair (radio): Use whatever you have to, just make it happen.
After Lucas secures the second train.
Lucas: Train clear. There's civilian casualties everywhere.
Sinclair (radio): Third train on the lower east platform! We have eyes on multiple targets. They're setting up a perimeter.
Command (radio): Sir, we're evacuating the stadium area, but there's too many people. It's going to take at least 45 minutes.
Sinclair (radio): I don't care how long it takes, get those people out of there!
Command (radio): We're tracking multiple hostiles! They're deploying rockets!
Lucas enters the last train and find one of the cars holding lots of bombs.
Lucas: Pulsar, 1-8.
Sinclair (radio): Go.
Lucas: In the last train car... it's filled with explosives... [Notice the bombs are activated] Shit! They've linked the bomb in series. I can't defuse it in time!
Lucas looks outside and see the train is running.
Sinclair (radio): 1-8. get back in here now! We need to disable that train, it's headed straight for the central station.
Lucas jumps into Sinclair's dropship.
Sinclair: There's hundreds of civilians trapped in there. We need to shoot the train off the rails. Use the mini-gun. Go, GO!
Lucas grabs the mini-gun.
Sinclair: Blow out the drive system! Shoot the cable hooks! Do not let that train get to the central station!
After Lucas derail the train.
Sinclair: Congratulations soldier, you just saved a lot of lives.
Sinclair looks at Tyran's video.
Sinclair: We traced the feed. He's right here in West Vekta. We've never had a confirmed sighting before now. Tac Ops are en route, elevators are shut down. We're evacuating the lower floors. We have a confirmed sighting of Tyran in the upper levels. I want you to go in, rendezvous with the ground team and secure the hostages. Off the record, Tyran takes priority. You understand? I want Tyran's head, Lucas. On a stick.
Lucas reels down to the building.
VSA Trooper: Sir! Suspects are holed up in the room below. Ready to breech through the pool skylight on your go. We can breach right now or find another entry point. Your call, sir.
Once Lucas fires the shot.
Lucas: Hostiles alerted! Entry Team clear to breach!
Lucas frees the first hostage in the gym.
Hostage #1: Hurry up, untie me! There's people in the other rooms! We can't leave them!
Lucas frees the hostages in the kitchen.
Hostage #2: You have to help me, they've taken my wife to another room.
Hostage #3: Come on come on! Go help the others!
After Lucas clears the floor.
Lucas: Hostiles down.
Sinclair (radio): This is Pulsar. I want that emitter found! Get that off the air! Now!
After Lucas clears the bedroom.
Lucas: Hostiles down. Bedroom's clear.
Lucas clears the broadcast room.
Lucas: I've found their broadcast uplink. Tyran's not here!
Lucas frees the last hostage.
Hostage #4: Untie me, hurry! They're coming back! I don't care what you gotta do, just just get me outta here!
Zulu 2-1 (radio): Command, Zulu 2-1. All hostages are accounted, thanks to Shadow 1-8, over.
Command (radio): Roger, Zulu 2-1, good job everyone. Shadow 1-8, this is Command. We're getting reports that some hostiles have escaped. Stand by for update.
Sinclair (radio): Kellan, we've got telemetry coming in. Looks like Tyran's on the move.
Command (radio): 1-8. Scans show they're seven levels below, 40th floor.
Lucas: We'll rappel down from the balcony. Let's go!
Command (radio): Roger 1-8. Monitoring. Advance and report.
Lucas rappels down to the 40th floor and breaks Black Hand terrorist's neck. He is then ambushed by Tyran.
Tyran: I'm not as easy to kill.
Tyran stabs Lucas, who then punches Tyran off.
Lucas: ARGH!
Tyran: Keep the knife. You'll need it.
Lucas pulls the knife out and pursues Tyran.
Lucas: Got a visual on Tyran. He's on the move.
Command (radio): Shadow 1-8, secure Tyran alive.
Sinclair (radio): This is Sinclair, scratch that. Shoot to kill.
Lucas sees Tyran.
Lucas: There he is!
VSA Trooper: Shit. Can you make it across Marshal? Keep it moving, let's got!
Lucas finds Tyran on a dropship.
VSA Trooper: There, on the platform! P-ID on Tyran! Command, Tyran is boarding an ISA-designated Dropship!
Lucas hangs on the dropship's rappel line.
Sinclair (radio): Kellan, don't let them escape.
VSA Trooper (radio): Sir, looks like they're heading for the Wall. You have to let go of the rope.
ISA AA guns start shooting at the dropship.
Lucas: Pulsar! Get those AA Guns offline!
VSA Trooper (radio): Sir, you need to get the hell out of there! Now!
Lucas reaches the cabin and Tyran kicks his pistol out of his hand.
Tyran: You're persistent, I respect that. But it's in your nature. To lose!
Tyran points his pistol at Lucas, who then stabs Tyran's knife into his foot. Tyran kicks Lucas off. Lucas' OWL deploys an inflatable safety net, which cushion Lucas' fall. He then watches Tyran's dropship flying into New Helghan.
