Echo: Stay on that dropship. We can't afford to lose it if we want to find the weapon.

Echo: It's hit! They're taking it down. Stay on it. The smoke should make it easy to trace.

Lucas and Echo enter Helghan's atmosphere.

Gameplay

July 7th 2390 - 5:35pm

Helghan

Echo: We've entered Helghan's atmosphere. It's safe to disengage the orbital divers and freefall to the surface.

Echo: 10,000 meters. Velocity 102 miles per hour and climbing! Stay clear of the meteor trails -- the dust is superheated... Can you see the dropship?! It should be just ahead of you! Follow its vapor trail!

Echo: 4,000 meters. You've reached terminal velocity! Stay close to it. Once we clear the cloud layer -- we'll glide below radar.

Echo: I'm going through.

Lucas: Echo, radio check?

Echo: Broken but clear.

Lucas: I've lost visual on the ship.

Echo: I've got eyes on a column of smoke -- must be the crash site. I'm landing nearby.

Lucas: I'll RV with you onsite.

Echo: The area's crawling with combat droids. Watch yourself.

After landing.

Echo: Kellan, I'm on the road below you.

Lucas: I'm heading down. I can see smoke from the crash.

Echo: You're way too exposed up there, hurry up.

Lucas: On my way.

Echo: The planet's core is unstable. There's going to be a lot of tremors from here on in. Watch your footing -- ground's unstable.

Lucas: I've never seen anything like this.

Echo: Kellan, it had to happen this way. No one could be trusted with Massar still alive. Both sides helped destroy this planet. We cannot let the same happen to Vekta.

Lucas: We won't. As long as we find Stahl and destroy the weapon.

Echo: These gravity wells will help us get across the terrain. You can't damage the drill without a Petrusite Canister mounted on top of it. If you need a spare, shoot down a bot. They carry them around.

After Lucas insert the Petrusite Capacitor.

Echo: Now back off and shoot the canister.

After Lucas creates a gravity well.

Echo: Follow me up, it won't harm you

Echo: We should split up. We'll be harder to track. The dropship's our only lead. Head for the smoke and stay on comms.

Lucas sees a Mobile Scan Unit.

Lucas: What is that?

Echo: A Mobile Scan Unit. Part of the automated defense network. We need to disable it.

If spotted.

Lucas: I've been spotted!

Echo: Get out of there!

Lucas waits too long.

Echo: There has to be another way to disable it... look around and see what you can find.

Lucas destroys the drill.

Echo: It's damaged! The drill must have caused a power surge when it blew. Find another one!

After the MSU is destroyed.

Echo: It's down! Good work, Kellan! Let's go!

Lucas narrowly avoids an elevator.

Lucas: Shit!

A tremor knocks down a building.

Echo: Kellan! Are you okay?

Lucas: That was close.

Echo: Be careful. Let's not slow down. We're not far from the crash site. Visari was younger than I am now. To see your home destroyed, everything taken away from you. I can't imagine what that must have been like for her.

After destroying the second MSU.

Lucas: They're all down. I'm moving forward.

Echo: The crash site should be close.

Echo: Sometimes I wish people would just forget this ever happened. Instead of pain and guilt...there could be hope.

Echo: Kellan, you alright?

Lucas: That wasn't just a tremor.

Echo: The quakes are getting more violent. We need to get to the crash site now!

Lucas reaches the crash site.

Lucas: I have a visual on the crash site.

Echo: I see it. Moving in.

Lucas sees Tyran boarding the dropship.

Lucas: He's here. It's Tyran. He's alive!

Echo: Sonuvabitch.

Lucas: They're flying him out.

Echo: We need to track him. He'll lead us to the weapon.

Lucas: Copy. I'm on it.

Echo: Kellan! I'm just above you! Use the gravity well!

After Lucas reaches Echo.

Echo: I'll take point.

Echo: Tremor! Move! Watch for falling debris!

Echo: Kellan, heads up!

A Helghast cruiser appears above them.

Lucas: This place is tearing itself apart.

Echo: It's landing! It's just past the ridge. Come on!
