Escape is the fifth level of Killzone.
Plot
General Vaughton prepares to leave for SD Platform. Meanwhile, Templar and his squad plans to head to the docks and find transport to the fortress, where a shuttle will take Hakha off Vekta. On the way to the docks, the squad help ISA forces fend off amphibious assaults from Helghast forces on the beaches.
They eventually arrive at the docks, where Hakha requests Templar to process the information he gathered from the Helghast by accessing a nearby mainframe. Rico quickly accuses Hakha of trying to hack into the ISA's systems and once again questioning his loyalty. This nearly leads to a deadly standoff between Rico, Hakha and Luger (who sides with Hakha) in which it is break up by Templar, who then asks Hakha the content of the information. Hakha explains that a computer on the SD platform had fell under control of the Helghast, which they used it to shut down the defense network; he needs to identify it to inform General Adams by hacking the mainframe. Templar gives his permission to Hakha.
Hakha hacks into the mainframe and discovers to his shock that the compromised computer belongs to General Adams's computer; Adams is revealed to be a Helghast collaborator. On the SD Platform, Vaughton and Adams reactivated the defense network. Soon afterwards, Helghast soldiers under General Joseph Lente take control of the platform and Adams reveals his treachery to Vaughton, who is then executed at Adams's command. With the defense network under Helghast control, Adams test fire the reprogrammed platform by firing an orbital strike on the fortress in which it is witnessed by Templar's squad.
Realizing that Adams intends on using the platform to destroy the Earth fleet, Templar orders his squad to travel to the remains of the fortress to reach an uplink, an orbital transfer station that will take them to the platform. Using Fast Attack Crafts, they set course for the fortress. But on the way, they are intercepted by a Helghast rocket trooper and end up crashing into a marsh.
