The Reckoning is the eighth level of Killzone 3.

Plot

The Mobile Factory's explosion alerted the Helghast to the ISA's position. The ISA emerge initially victorious against the Helghast, but only to be confronted by a massive and near-indestructible MAWLR. Sev learns that some ISA troops have found a Helghast weapons bunker and he heads there hoping to find enough fire power to deal with the MAWLR. With Rico and Jammer, he uses the Intruders to distract the MAWLR and Sev is able to destroy its cooling panels, but it is not enough. The MAWLR launches a devastating attack that separates Sev from the others.

Sev leads the remaining ISA troops to assault a nearby building and gain control of its freight elevator. Once they take the building, Sev uses the elevator to reach the rooftop to gain a better look at what remains of the MAWLR's defenses. On the roof, Sev is attacked by Capture Troopers, but Narville and Rico fly in on Intruders and save him. Reunited, the ISA launch a aerial assault against the MAWLR and ultimately destroy it.

The battle has taken a toll on the ISA, which they are now numbered to sixty men. Narville and the others are less certain that they will survive in escaping Helghan and warning Earth about the impending attack. But Sev begs to differ in which he rally an encouraging speech to his comrades to continue on their escape and stopping the Helghast invasion.
