Scrapyard Shortcut is the seventh level of Killzone 3.
Plot
No longer able to use the Ice Saw, Sev and Rico reach to a deserted scrapyard and finding a fleet of Helghast ships gathering for the space port, preparing for their invasion of Earth. They cut through the scrapyard as they make their way towards the space port.
They soon reach a vantage point in the scrapyard where they see Jason Narville and the rest of the ISA troops. As they look on, the Helghast activate a Petrusite fence based on Jorhan Stahl's new weapon, thus trapping the ISA forces in place. Narville has one of his men to hack the fence and shut it off, but it is a slow process. Rico and Sev opt to find a faster solution and head off to hijack a Helghan Mobile Factory.
Trapped in the scrapyard with no way out, Sev and Rico use a crane to break open a new route. They push on through heavy Helghast resistance, and soon reach the Mobile Factory, but suddenly find themselves facing the business end of the factory's scrap grinder. Fortunately, Jammer arrives on the scene in a buggy to rescue Sev and Rico and helps them board the Mobile Factory. Once inside, they take control and drive the Mobile Factory into the Petrusite fence thus shutting it down. The Mobile Factory takes serious damage and subsequently explodes, but Rico and Sev escape as Jammer pilots an Intruder to pick them up.
