Repair is a Secondary Badge of the Engineer class in Killzone 2 multiplayer.
Description
The Repair Tool can be used to repair ammo boxes, gun emplacements, Sentry Turrets and Base Turrets for the friendly team to use. It repairs 100 damage points per second. Since the maximum health of any equipment is 300, the maximum time to repair an item is 3 seconds. If the Repair Tool is equipped as the player's Sub-Badge (even when not playing as an Engineer) they can view the health gauge of all the equipment that can be repaired.
The Repair Badge is is unlocked after earning the Turret Specialist Badge, which requires five kills with Sentry Turrets in a single round of play.
Strategy
- The Repair Tool enables the Engineer to repair any inactive ammo box or manned gun emplacements.
- Fixing the boxes located near most Spawn Areas will allow the player and their team to stock up on ammunition and grenades.
- Destroying enemy ammo boxes and gun emplacements allows Engineers to repair them and repurpose them for their team.
